From a strictly humor-based perspective, I honestly don’t understand what is so funny about the watermelon thing. Every “joke” I see about it is something along the lines of, “Hahahaha! Those black people like watermelon!”. Is repeating that whenever you see a black person supposed to be funny? I’m pretty sure that puts it at about the funniness level of repeating old internet memes.
